Frequently Asked Questions
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?
We will meet at a location convenient to both of us and sign a contract. A non-refundable retainer is required so I can lock your date and do not book any other wedding.
CAN YOU HOLD OUR DATE ?
I can not guarantee your wedding date until the booking retainer has been paid and the contract is signed. I fully understand that this is a big decision but please be aware that many couples compete for the same dates.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR COLLECTIONS?
Prior to wedding day coverage an engagement session is included and after your wedding the digital copies of your pictures will be delivered to you.
WHAT IF MY WEDDING IS CANCELLED OR CHANGED?
The retainer is non-refundable once we have signed the contract. If your wedding is changed to a date that I am available that money can be applied to the new date.
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET?
On a typical wedding day, you will receive around 800-1000 pictures.
WILL I BE ABLE TO PRINT MY PICTURES?
Of course, you will be able to download all your pictures and print them for your personal use.
DO YOU HAVE A SECOND SHOOTER ?
I will always bring a second shooter who is an accomplished photographer in their own right. You can read more about these photographers here.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO DELIVER MY PICTURES?
It takes me 4-6 weeks for the wedding photos and about half that time for the engagement sessions.
MY WEDDING WILL NOT BE IN THE BRAZOS VALLEY, WILL YOU TRAVEL ?
Absolutely, I love to travel. I've shot throughout the South so we can definitely find a way to get your wedding covered.
WHY IS THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION IS ALWAYS INCLUDED IN YOUR COLLECTIONS?
These sessions are wonderful moments to capture. It will give us all a chance to get to know each other better so on the wedding day, you feel comfortable with me, my assistants, and in front of the camera. These sessions go a long way to making the overall coverage of your wedding much better.
WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE IT?
Any time after we sign the contract, but I recommend we do it at least 2-3 months before the wedding.
WHAT TO WEAR AND WHERE DO WE GO?
That's completely up to you. I can give suggestions on locations but I feel like it's more important that you pick a place that's important to you. Perhaps the restaurant where you went on your first date, the location of the proposal, or any place where you have shared memories together. As far as what to wear, I suggest something that you'll be comfortable in and that you would wear on a normal day together. Don't be afraid to let your personality come through in how you dress. I only advise that you try to keep to solid colors to avoid the pictures being too "busy".
